Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and Theatre. After moving into Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in the theatre, performing and choreographing over two dozen shows. The most notable of these was The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly started to get the roles for films and TV while studying improvisations with The Groundlings. The voice of her and petite stature have made her able to tackle a number of characters. Her most well-known role is her role as a co-star with Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara on The Ring 2 but is popularly known for her role as the bright and bubbly receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly was an TV Land Regular on the series between 2011 and 2015, appearing as paralegal during the daytime and the nightclub host. Alyssa Mio's smart sexpert little sister was Kelly's regular part in ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW was her show as the stressed-out suburban mother. Her fame is based on her soaring soprano voice in a variety of animations. They include the cult show Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. She was most recently seen on NBC's cult comedy Superstore as the dim but adorable Cloud 9 worker. She is married with two children and lives in a quiet house. She likes to write or sew as well as volunteer in schools.
