American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began with minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). She then played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and had a supporting part in the short-lived show The Ex List. She was a part of the young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the season's third. She was Jessie Anderson's character on the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie played her character in NBC's This Is Us. She voiced a variety of characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother at the age of 10. The family were able to move around for a year before eventually moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she started to develop an interest in photography, acting and singing. When she turned 15, she moved with her mom back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
